WEEK 1 - Candy Science

While cooking camp is a long-time staple of Camp Davis, we are taking it to the next level this year with Candy Science! Campers will explore the science behind chocolate, crystalized sugar, and more. Come hungry and with a sweet tooth for this special candy-tastic camp!
WEEK 2 - Mad science labs
GRADES: 1-3
DATES: June 9- June 13

Channel your inner mad scientist with Mad Science Labs! Campers will spend each day conducting crazy experiments and wacky challenges. Lab coats and fun provided!

Brickeology lego camp
GRADES: 1-6
DATES: June 9- June 13

​We are partnering with Brickelogy to offer you an amazing Lego-themed program!
Whether your kid is a seasoned Lego master or just getting started, the Brickeology
crew will teach them some new techniques and have some fun challenges for them to
conquer. This session will also be offered during our week 9 Camp Davis Clubhouse
camp.
WEEK 3 - advanced robotics with robo-think!
GRADES: 3-6
DATES: June 16- June 20

Camp Davis is once again partnering with RoboThink to bring you a brand new high-tech specialty option. RoboThink specialists will be coming in to lead campers in a different robot build and activity each day. These include Battle Bots, Construction Machines, Mars Rover, and more. Space is limited so make sure to register early to secure your spot – you don’t want to miss out on this specialty camp!
WEEK 4 - Camp davis spy academy
GRADES: 3-6
DATES: June 23 - June 27

Does your kiddo love solving puzzles, spooky challenges, and wild mysteries?! Come join the Camp Davis Spy Academy where campers will work together to hone their spy skills, solve mysteries, and conduct spy experiments like creating disappearing ink! By the end of the week, campers will truly be certified spies!

WEEK 6 - Galactic explorers
GRADES: 1-6
DATES: July 7 - July 11

Come one come all to our Galactic Explorers space-themed specialty camp! Campers will engage in fun space activities with topics like the planets, asteroids/meteors, gravity, and more. A highlight of this week will be a field trip to the Adventure Science Center and a show at the Sudekum Planetarium!
WEEK 7 - POKEMON CAMP
GRADES: 1-6
DATES: July 14 - July 18

Gotta catch ‘em all! We are back with another year of Pokemon Camp! If your kiddo is obsessed with Pokemon then this is the specialty camp for them. This camp will cover all things Pokemon including battling with cards, creating new Pokemon and custom Pokemon cards, and much more! You won’t want to miss this unique specialty offering.
WEEK 8 - MACCABIA: cOLOR WAR
GRADES: K-8
DATES: July 21-July 25

The summer is almost over and it is time for one of the greatest Camp Davis traditions- the Maccabia games! This is an incredible week of camp where children are divided up into three different teams. We spend the entire week competing in different athletic, artistic, and ruach based events. Sportsmanship is the key to a victory this week, as children learn the importance of winning- and losing- with their heads held high.
Maccabia week at Camp Davis is unlike any other week. There are no field trips or specialty tracks. Children spend a large portion of the day in mixed age groupings. Because of this alternative schedule, we strongly recommend that campers have experienced additional weeks of camp before attending during week 8.
